Laguna High has one ritually that has been started from generations before, to have been let on till this very day. That being throwing one hell of a bonfire including all Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmans; to a year with promising good times. Held every year on October 21st, Friday. This was just but a usually gathering like every other year. Seniors bringing kegs, Freshman’s finding their way into the up-talk day of their since Middle School. It was just like any other bonfire the kids have been too. So they expected to be so at least. 4 students intrigued by so called tall-tale of the Deadman’s Reef story, decided what a better chance to get at the bottom of the tall-tale then the night of the bonfire. For rumor has it Deadman’s Reef was where a very odd and intimidated child lived with his abusive dad right beside the shore. At the age of 17 the only son of the abusive father; cracked under his father’s lash out brutally beating and stabbing the life out of his father. After that night, so said the 17 year old threw the life-less body of his fathers into the Deadman’s Reef for him to be later found by the Luguna beach cops early morning. Where the 17 year old ran away? One does not know. The house decade and trashed, still stands proudly today; only but 25 years later. These daring 4 students decided to break an entrance into the trashed house that no one has resided since the death of the abusive father. Or so they thought…
